is there anyway to check how healthly your connection is? mine has been on and off for a while now and its getting worse! i just want internet that works! thanks!

DL speed is 'o'kbps and upload is '40'kbps can this be right? do i need download?

Yes you need download... Do you have dsl/cable or dial up?

Try that one, (ADSL)... I hope you dont have IDSL.

Your Dsl Should be about 3x your upload. AND never 0. If it were 0 you would not be able to go on the internet. You could not receive any info from anything.

right. my connection speed is 162.2 kilobits per second and its adsl that i have. is this good? its seems to be coming around a bit. little faster it seems!

i just seen a comparison, its awful hahaha i need a new IP didnt think it was that bad! lol

well yes it is faster than the previous speed of 0... HUGE increase. But the speed of 162 is nothing to really brag about. This is about 2 times the speed of a good dial up connection. Do you think your speed is slow as compared to the same connection previously?

We can look to close all the other programs which could be slwoing your computer... optimize the connection if possible... What do you pay for DSL?

my internet connection went down last night and im now on a differnent computer so the internet is fine! we've been having bad weather so could this also be a reason for the slow internet?

and also i pay about £20 a month for what i have with a 4gb DL limit? poor isnt it? and i usually just run FF.
