Default general question about hijackthis

hello...

i think that hijackthis is the most powerful tool to remove spywares, but i have 1 question... from time to time i c ppl sending their logs of hijack and ask what to delete and such, when i'm running hijack i always delete everything and its working great everytime... is that wrong? i mean, it always finds things that should not b on my computer like all kind of crap that has been installed on my computer and on my browser, like google and yahoo and other sites... isnt it smart just to remove them all if i dont want anyting that want installed by windows by default?

thanks for your answer
and a groovy day
