aim but no IE?

so i have a friend on xbox live who cant get his ie to load anything but he can still chat on aim. does anyone know how to fix this?

What do you mean load? Like start up, or load a web page?

yah the browser comes up but then it says the page can not be displayed

Does he have any firewalls? Make sure IE is on the allowed list.

ok he checked ie is enabled

Have him try and download a new browser, such as FF, see if it works. If he cant download, then use a USB flash drive on another persons comp to download FF, then install it on his machine.
