Exclamation My computer is Broken! I don't know why...

Hello our fellow forum members! I have a problem with my computer and I don't know what... Please help me.

First of all, my computer hardware stats are as follows:
384mb of RAM, 128mb(PC 133) + 256mb(PC 100)
60GB Hard Drive From Maxtor I believe
Genuine Intel Celeron Processor operating at 1.3ghz
Onboard sound card
nVidia FX 5200 Graphics card
Bestec ATX-250-12E Power supply
Hitachi GD-5000 DVD Rom (which it does not play dvds...)
Hitachi-LG Data Storage Inc. CD-R/RW Drive (Model Number = GCE-8320B)

And such If I missed anything.

Also, my desktop computer was originally from a computer brand called "eMachines", as many of you know as the worst computer manufacturer EVER created! It is an eMachine T1300 bought four years ago (2002). I never Overclocked my processor or did anything retarded to it. Then, my operating system failed because I was doing a system restore (a restore disk that I bought to restore my computer. [it's a hard disk image to restore the computer to its original factory defaults]) However, when I was doing a system restore, unfortunately the power FAILED! Then, my computer was totally screwed up... After that I installed Windows 98 SE on it, since it was the only operating system that I was able to install... Well that was the only one I had... Because my "Restore disk" needed some data files on my hard drive, it did not work any more... (Since my hard disk is trashed!) So I installed Win 98 SE, but it had so many errors that I couldnt use it! Because of that, I tried erasing Win 98 SE, like the whole hard drive with another program that was bootable. When I was erasing my hard disk, the process stopped in the middle... The progess bar stayed in the middle for hours. I discovered that I was no good even to try any more, so I turned the computer off. Then I tried turning the computer on, but it did not turn on. So that's about it... (to my stories that is...)

So I don't know what the problem is, but since I did not overclock or anything, I think my processor is fine. I think the problem is the power supply, because there are no other possible reasons, and when I tired plugging the power cord in to the outlet, I saw a very minor spark.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
