Default Crossfire x1800

How do I run two x1800xt cards on a Crossfire m/b?

Does it have to be a Crossfire vid card in order to run two?

How would you go about hooking them up if all I have to do is buy another card?

This is the card I have:

And the m/b I have:

You need a Master Card version of an ATI graphics card. It can be any make, any model, as long as its a mastercard; so, you could have your x1800xt coupled with a x1900xt master card.

Master cards, instead of 2 DVI outputs, have 1 DVI output and a Crossfire connection, such as on this pic.

So, if the card looks like that from the back, that's what you want.

I figured that's how it would work, I just hadn't found something like that so that's why I am questioning it.
Is it possible for someone to find something that would work?
I've tried with no luck at finding the master card.

Damn, that's expensive. If that's what I have to do, I'll stick with one

Doesn't the 2 X1800GT's work in Crossfire mode without having a Crossfire edition of the card? So not all cards require a Crossfire card.

I do faintly remember reading an article, where older cards can work together via the chipset, but not sure which cards. You will probly need to go to the ATI website, go to the driver page, and read the driver descriptions. They shoudl have the information in there.
