Noisey Video Card

The loudest thing in my case right now is the fan on the video card. I know it's the video card because I stopped the fan and my computer became silently instantly. Would it be alright to unplug the fan? I have a Vantec Fan Card just below my video card that blows air onto the video card. I'll probably buy a new HSF for my video card but I'm still deciding, any suggestion/recommendations?

Just try it and watch your temps. Just mess around and see what works.
