Default Windows on older comp..

I've come across a Dell that was used in a school system. It runs windows xp, but it has all the administrator stuff from the school district running on it. Is there any way I an do away with that stuff?

Reformat the drive and put a fresh installation of Windows on it.

Just don't know if I would be able to get around having to be the administrator to delete the stuff. :-P
Wish I had a ghost.

You mean you don't know the administrator password? If so this was a big help to me when I didn't know the XP administrator password on my laptop: http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/

the programm i use to get user id's is the good old "erdcommander".
it allows to detect users + their password, and even set a new admin account.

i read somewhere that XP stores a duplicate userprofile somewhere and that a editor (after booting from disk) makes it able to read.
sorry, dono where
