Default Which Wireless Card Do I Need?

Hello all and thank you in advance for your assistance.

I have a Uniwill 245II0 Base Notebook. I want to get a wireless card so that I can also use the internet at work, the airport, etc. when I carry my laptop with me. What is the best possible quality wireless card I can get that is compatible with my notebook for under $100? This laptop was custom built for me about 1.5 years ago.

This would do fine if you want a USB type:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16833130115

easy to install/use, you will just need to run a disk when you get it, they take about 2 minutes to install.

Any of the wireless cards in this section should work with your laptop. You may want to get one that is the same brand and type as your router though, like make sure to get a wireless g card with a wireless g router.

Thanks for the help.
Currently I am looking the link bball4life provided, and I dont know what I should choose. I think it is the "Type" section that confuses me. The 802.11b PCMCIA Wireless Adapter, 802.11b/g Cardbus Wireless Adapter, 802.11g PCMCIA Wireless Adapter, 802.11b/g PCMCIA Wireless Adapter, and 802.11a/b/g Cardbus Wireless Adapter options. Which one is right for me?

Which router do you have, and according to the specs from your comps manufacturer you need a pcmcia. So if you have a b/g router get a card that has g its the top wireless speed currently.

Ah yes I have a "a" router. So does that mean I need a 802.11a wireless card? If I use it at work, can I still get a signal given the signal is within my wireless card's range? (I think they have a type "b/g" router)

I want either one of these. Which one is better? I have no idea so I need to rely on second opinions and testimonials

you shouldn't have to spend that much to get an "a" card. For that price you can get this card and this router, this is kind of the lower end stuff, I'll keep looking but it shouldn't cost you $80 for a wireless "a" card.
