I am thinking about purchasing the DELL XPS 400, specs are:
Pentium® D Processor 940 with Dual Core Technology (3.20GHz, 800FSB) Genuine Windows® XP Media Center 2005 Edition 256MB nVidia GeForce 7900 GS 1GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz- 2DIMMs 250GB Serial ATA 3Gb/s Hard Drive (7200RPM) w/ 8MB cache I was just wondering, If I get this will I be able to play games like Half-Life2, Doom3, Battelfield2 and COunter-strike source on high setting at 800x600 resolution? Or will it lag? Thanks in advance, Beefdawg |

Lol yeah, how much is that costing you? You'll be able to play those games at the settings you mentioned but you're probably also paying way too much for that computer.

Ya dells aren't bad for e-mail, word processing and internet, but when it comes to gaming, yikes. Wouldn't even go with alienware, way overpriced.

, you can get a good 19: lcd for $250 and very nice mouse and keyboard for $100, good 5.1 speakers $50 and then you have $1200 to put into a comp.
