Unhappy Why isn't the disk drive working correctly?

How come when I want to copy my files onto the floppy disk it says, please insert a disk into drive A? I did insert the disk into drive A and I tried a different floppy disk too. Can someone please help me I really need to do this for my school project.

On my old Celeron 433MHz computer, it used to do that to me....I always thought it was resolved when I put a new Floppy Drive in it (Maybe it's the same for you?)
