I'm trying to re-install my old Saitek ST220 joystick. It is a 2 axis stick with 4 buttons and throttle. I have an ASUS P4P800 SE mobo that has that extra joystick/USB plus on the back that goes into one of the PCI slots and plugs into the mobo in two spots, one for USB and other for game port. I couldn't get my computer to recognize the ST220 but I figured out to change the settings in bios. I just don't know what to set it to. Doesn't seem to work right on any setting. I go into Onboard Devices Configuration, then Onboard Game/MIDI Port. It gives me Disabled, 200/300, 200/330, 208/300, 208/330. No where in my ASUS manual does it say anything about it. The only thing it tells me is where to plug it in at, nothing else. I have no idea what those numbers mean and I have no idea if this is the only thing I need to do to figure this out. I have it on 208/300 right now. (tried all and nothing works). I save, restart windows, go into control panel, game controllers. It lists controller as 4-button flight yoke w/throttle. I then click on Properties, then calibrate. Axis calibration goes crazy. The + jumps all over the square that it is in. Moving the controller does nothing. The 4 buttons don't work either. What is going on? Is the controller shot? It is probably 6 years old or so. Thanks
