I am thinking about buying a 256 Ram card for my Dell deimension 4500 Pentium 4. 2.4 ghz. Will this help my computer greatly since it only has 256 right now. So it would now have a total of 512 mb. Would that help the computer, and it what ways? Are there any precautions to take when installing it?
Thanks,

i used to have 256 in my dell then made it 512 and now i made it 1.25gigs. but when i upgraded to 512, i did notice a difference. it will help games and help out with opening programs faster. it will really help out with the whole performance of ur computer. but if u want even more boosted performance, then u should buy a one gig stick so ull have 1.25gigs.
