Default Help.

Ok I'm building my first computer and its almost done. All I need is memory. My friend told me it should work and open up the bios without it. I tried. It starts up for about 10-15 seconds then dies. the power supplie fan and all dies. I'm thinking its eather because I dont have memory in it, The power supplie is to small or I hooked somthing up wronge. Can some one help me figure this out.
