For monitoring cpu and board temps I can point you at a freeware called SpeedFan which generally works pretty good except for on some systems with dual core cpus. That's a strange bug there but not seen with all dual core cpued cases. You download that free at
http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php Note that Temp #1 is for the cpu while Temp #2 is for the main board. It will also show hard drive temps. The one thing lacking is for video, sound, and other expansion cards.
Some end up installing a 3rd party temp sensor on their own. It will take a period of time to go thriough all of them for another program or reference. But the link here shows the threads involving video temps using the search option.
