Default Noob 1st Build - Gaming comp, suggestions?

Well, I'm willing to put my budget at approx. $1300.

This is my first build, utilizing my 'average' knowledge of computers. Reviwing many of the walk-thrus and whatever I could research online, I THINK I have a good lineup setup for a gaming comp at my budget.

PLEASE SUGGEST ANY CHANGES TO THE FOLLOWING IF ANY NEED BE:

since you are building an am2 system you can use ddr2 memory so you should change that.

They are great for the price. Everything looks very nice, but have you considered the Intel Core 2 Duo?

Nice build. the only thing I would change would be the GPU. my radeon x1650 can nearly match the 7900gt. Go for a 8800gt or 9600gt, or if you prefer ati: the 4350 or 4670.

Wow. I was going to comment that those components were a bit old for a $1300 build. lol

Another epic revival for linkin93...
