Default Help! GR-DF550?

help me! i press rec button to record, and press it again to stop recording, but when i go to play the screen is all blue, and when i turn it on, it has "PAUSE" in green letters, what am i doing wrong?

Odd, maybe you need to "unpause" somehow, before you record, and that's why you get the blue screen.
