Unhappy Flash Player Problems

I've been having problems upgrading my flashplayer to Flash Player 9. Right now I have Flash Player 8 according to my Add/Remove Programs list. When I try to download Flash Player 9, it makes it so that I can't play ANY videos, when that happened I just did a system restore to a couple days earlier, but I still want Flash Player 9 so I can watch things that require it (YouTube for example)

Help me please.

uninstall it and then run like ccleaner and a registry cleaner program and see if it still shows up and try resinstalling the new version again

Are you getting the Flash player from the official site?

Make sure you completely remove the old one and then install the new one.

Once you've uninstalled the old one, run a program like codeman0013 said, I use CCleaner too, it's good.

Then install the new and get back to us.

Tried that, didn't work. Could it be a problem with my vid card drivers? The card is really old and crappy (ATI Rage 128 Ultra 32MB) maybe it doesn't support Flash Player 9?
