Misterious unread messages.

I am using XP, I see misteriously, at bottom of my user account when I am trying to log on,12 unread messages. I don't use Ms outlook or other mail program. I am the administrator. Can somebody tell me how can I read or at least see where are them.

Appreciate your help.

if u use hotmail, it may be the amount of unread email in your hotmail account. I remember when i used to use hotmail for my email, and I had hundreds of unread emails, most were junk tho.

when it says that click on the 12 unread messages text and it should tell you the email address
