if you build it yourself, you would only spend about $600 4 a decent setup, like $500 less from the XPS lol, i do like the XPS, but it's just 2 damnn high..

thanks for all the help, i think i will hold off for a while, and look into gradually building my own system. at leats that way ill still be able to use this comp while im getting a decent system together and save a lot in the long run. thanks again
