Question Notice of unread mail in logon ?

Hi,

I'm not sure how this initiated, but I am now getting messages when I click my icon to enter the desktop that I have x number of unread mail. So, I go to outlook as always and get that, but that isnt the problem. I went to my new hotmail account, no email there either. I did have another hotmail that I terminated, as well as removing msn messenger and now only use windows messenger with my new account.

Is there a way to tell "windowns" not to display my unknown location of unread mail?

thanks so much!

umm, well thats based on the .net passport associated with your profile, so you'll want to go under control pannel and then go to users and see which one is set to your user profile and change it to the correct one.
