Default Help!

today when i put in a audio cd in my laptop a very loud buzzing noise started coming from the dvd/cd drive. i started going threw cds to see if it was the cd and some make the noise and some dont. is this a problem with the cds or is it with the drive?? i also tried playing a dvd, and that seems to work fine. help would be gratley aprreciated, thanks.

Does the CD still play when you here the buzzing sound or not. cause that sound is common.

is the cd slightly bent, because every revoluion it can hit something inside the drive? otherwise, is the cd drive pushed in properly (dont know just throwing out suggestions)

well i would like to ask how fast the cd drive is as some laptops (schools laptops) sound like that, and there like 48x

i guess it could be becouse there bent, it only happend with a few of my cds, the rest work fine, it sound like some kind of vibration.

i dunno its faster than normal cuz our school go ott when computers are involved

it seems that it only makes that noise when im using itunes...??
im playing these cds in windows media player and it dosent make any noise at all. does this mean that its itunes?
