No sound anywhere.

Forgive me, I do not know much about computer hardware. I have an
Asus A7N8x-x motherboard with integrated realtek ALC650 sound. I do not get any kind of audio through the cpu. When going into my device manager
and looking at the audio device I see this message....

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

There is also an exclamation point in a yellow box next to the listing. I checked to see if it was using another reference, but this is not the case.

I do not know where to get the driver (if in fact this is the problem).

Thanks for any advice.

The drivers will be on the cd that came with the motherboard. Run the cd and it should be fairly easy to find in the menus. Check what else you missed while you are there.
