really? never would have guessed

i mean, that selling it with xp installed would be selling xp, so he would be selling $140 software for $20.

just sayin... anybody else thinkin like me???

Nothing wrong with what you said, im just simply quoting you.

The HD may have an OS installed, however unless you install the HD into an identical system, the OS may not load and therefor you will need to format and start over.

and as long as there is only 1 copy of that xp running with that serial there wont be a prob.

It may be a legal copy of xp right now, but it won't be as soon as someone else buys it. Technically you can't even transfer xp from one computer to another that you own, like a new one. It breaches their copyright laws, so its definately Illegal to buy or sell a used copy of windows xp, just a heads up.

yeah, i took the hdd off....its legal now , but i dont have a clue where the serial is, and i dont want to have a hassle, haha, kgod, i emailed u
