Default Linux: Which one?

I have an old Toshiba T2150CDS laptop and I'm trying to find a distribution of Linux which will run smoothly on the system. I'm not bothered about it being amazing or anything, just so long as it has some form of GUI.

The spec is as follows (remember I said it was old!):

Intel 486 75Mhz
12MB RAM
2GB HDD
2x CD-ROM

Thanks.

Distro shouldn't matter much, but you'll need a very light window manager... try Fluxbox.

I would suggest Fedora for advanced users or Red Hat for people that are starting new.
