Question External Hard Drive Help

Anyone have any suggestions on good external hard drives? I have just about filled up the 100 GB hard drive on my laptop so I'm looking to get a external hard drive in the 250GB range. Price isn't of too much concern, I really just want a reliable hard drive that with a decent warranty so if it does happen to go out I'm not screwed.

I suggest that you buy your hard drive and the enclosure separate, its a heck of a lot cheaper. All you need to do is buy a 3.5" hard drive of your choice and get and enclosure like this one: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...389&CatId=2213

Wow that's a really good idea. Most of the enclosures for external hard drives are pretty crappy, not to mention I have never seen one with a warranty greater than 1 year.

If you shop around online and find some deals I just made an external harddrive got a 300gb for 99$ and the Holder for 50, so they are really cheap too.
