I paid roughly $4 more for an AMD64 3500+ single core 2.2ghz cpu. That's a very low price even for an Intel model dual core there. The FX60 dual core model that will max the board here is still over $800! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103608

I have a Pentium D 805 and it is hands down awesome. It handles just about everything I can throw at it. It's great for the price. I payed $109.99 for mine from Newegg about 6 weeks ago.

Yep intel pentium D's are cheap, but a good deal for the price. You have to remember they are really for the most part 2 generations old already, core if you want to count it, and core 2. You can pick up really good deals and for under a $100 its gotta be the best dual core available.

Didn't THG do an article on getting the 805 to 4ghz on standard watercooling, and getting it into the 3.2-3.5Ghz range with the Zalman 92mm cooler?

http://www.laptops4me.com/product_in...oducts_id/4001 $874.50

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103608 $811-

Newegg beats them on AMD models as well as Intel. I would go go with b182tm's link for a price saving there.

Newegg has the same products, but cheaper.

They have very good customer service. When you place an order, you usually get iton your doorstep in 2-3 days, and their return policy is terrific as well!

Zipzoomfly is one to leave off that list from complaints I've heard about them. When looking over price tags there they have been on the higher side quite often. Mwave gets better reviews while being higher then newegg on a good number of items. But they offer two things different. The first is shipping everything at one time while newegg ships items separately. The second is that Mwave accepts money order for those without charge cards! For pc cases(custom, stock) check out xoxide.com there for some good prices.
