Default What speakers sound great but are relatively small?

Hello. I currently own some Altec Lansing speakers, which sound great, but they are two pretty tall speakers and are connected to a hefty sized amp. In addition, the amount of cords wrapped around eachother just for these speakers is REDICULOUS.... Its a mess

Anyways, I have finished revamping my room and I may be interested in purchasing new speakers that:

A) Sound great
B) Look okay-to-great
C) Are not BULKY and have a truck-load of wires

I live in the High Desert, CA, and the amount of dust we get could ruin one's day, and the less mass of speakers there are, and the less wire, means less dusting! w00t.

thank you

Don't overlook fleaBay. I'd heartily recommend digging up some Advent Powered Partners. I have a pair and they make music sound great. Bass is a smidgen on the light side, but then, since I'm not a gamer, I don't often need earthshaking explosions.

Those specs are pretty darn good for any speaker, not just small PC speakers.
