You should prolly get a good laptop cooler for your Dell lappy or that won't be the only thing that gets scorched
. I thought I'd post this as a warning and something to laugh hysterically at (I chose the latter). Dell laptops can explode.....no not catch on fire......EXPLODE....Exhibit A:![]() This IS a Dell Dell Spontaneous Combustion (awesome!) Apparently your Dell lappy is NOT cool (though when ever was a Dell "cool"? )Dell laptop explodes at Japan conference http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=32550 Come on Japanese businessman......couldn't your budget allow for something other than a Dell....i mean....come on.....a Dell?!?!!?? Here is a great quote...this guys knows what he's talkin about "The damn thing was on fire and produced several explosions for more than five minutes". "For the record, this is a Dell machine," notes Gaston....HELL YEAH!!! This man is a genius!! Another Dell laptop catches on fire http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=33321 I tell you these thing are out to get you. First Japan now THG......THG!!!!! Yes, a guy at Toms Hardware was working at his lappy and it just BURST INTO FLAMES when he wasnt looking!!!! The fire alarm went off and as he turned back to grab his laptop.......hehe.....just read the article. Dell has secret stash of burnt-out notebooks http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=33191 Come on Dell.....just....nevermind just a lil more bout it with a picture http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2006/...816375720.html I dunno if this has been posted already but I thought it was too funny to let go. *Note: This was posted to poke some fun at Dell. Exploding Laptop Syndrome is not limited to Dell...just its funnier when it happens to a Dell.

I was wondering that too, I don't think it would be because I'm pretty sure that any physical damage done to the laptop voids the warranty, god that would piss me off soooo bad. I should call Dell tomorrow and ask them, if I can remember to I will.

Makes you wonder doesnt it?....its not like they expect that when they are writing the warranty....hmmmm
Though of course you call customer support.... (Dell customer support phone rings somewhere in India....damn outsourcing )Achmed: Hello? Dell customer support.... You: Yeah my Dell Laptop just blew up.... Achmed: What operating system are you using? You:.......ummmmm Burnt XP Achmed: I am unfamiliar with this Operating System you may have been infected with a virus of some kind. You: Oh thanks I'll just go and do a virus scan on my MELTED laptop, great man you are awesome help. Achmed: You are welcome and may Allah bless you.

hehe, I just thought of a good advertising slogan... "THEY'RE EXPLOSIVE!" because some people say explosive like it's good, like "it's an explosively good deal". lol

Imagine if that was actually on his lap though, it would have blew a hole where is manhood once stood. Imagine the lawsuit that would be tied to that.
