Default Toca Race Driver 3 and Racing Wheels = Nightmare!

Right, here goes my little mini rant/question?

Does anybody here have the game Toca Race Driver 3 and also play it with a steering/racing wheel?

Cos I bought myself one about 3 weeks ago and just cannot get used to racing with it on this game.

I mean, even if you put the best tires on whatever car you choose it still feels like your driving a drift car, I have changed all the in game settings and also the controller settings.

Problem is, is some of the races, where I was able to go round a corner with the keyboard at 55, now I can only go round it at 30, I have no idea what the problem is but Steering just doesnt seem to be as good.

Like, your coming up to a right angle bend, break from 40 about 10m away from it. You go to steer fully right at the same time and you just go nowhere, I mean its like you turn about a maximum of 40 degrees!

And, because Im still at the start of the game with a clio because I had to reformat it is annoying as hell having to break all the way down to 30 and then take half a decade getting back up to 100

Racing with the wheel has taken around 15 secons off of my lap times, and the bad thing about it is, now when I change back to the keyboard, the settings are still as bad as the wheel settings, And I know they were much much better than they are at the moment.

So, I just want to know, does anybody here have TRD3 and a steering wheel?

Thanks!

the response time with the steering wheel is lesser then a keyboard... it takes longer to crank over the steering wheel then the key to respond... and personally, im faster with drifing then grip... i have mastered Inertia drift in most games

Yeah, I got a racing wheel I use every now and then. I don't really use it to "play" though, just to mess around. You can't really play with them.

Actually, I only have Race Driver 2, but it's actually almost identical.
