I just read stuff on their site. Google for vista pricing, see what you find. I don't think anything is definite yet, but there are estimates

It's in Beta 2 now.

It's Microsoft's new OS coming out later 06/early 07.

I think that it's coming out in November this year, I could have just gotten that confused with the PS3, but I'm pretty sure that Vista is scheduled to come out in November though.

Its a whole new operating system. Just get the beta cd and try it out, then you can make the decision if its better then xp pro for yourself. As for system requirements check on Microsofts website. And they can be found here.
