Default scanning slides

ok so my dad has these slides, you know, for a slide show. the ghetto analog kind. he wants me to scan them to make them digital. so i have two questions that i hope i can get answere here. 1. is that even possible? 2. if so, what would be a good scanner to get for it?

Thanks in advance, John

Yes it is possible.

Pretty much any scanner has a slide adapter to use for this.

These 4 scanners have slide adapters built in. Or you can get them separately.

I would always recommend HP scanners, as they are the best that I have ever used.
