Default New dell

My friend got a new dell and she sent me this.

Got a new Dell the other day. Pentium D processor. I'm having problems with not being able to see pictures on sites. Pages not fully loading with the images. I'm sure it's something that is, or isn't checked, but I'm at a loss as to where. Any idea's?

Thanks,
Marie

I was thinking maybe it come with some kind of add blocking software...what do you think? I dont think it's a java problem or virus because it's brand new out of the box.

There is a setting in Internet Explorer to block images on websites. It might be an idea to check there.

I though it might be a browser problem so I had her download FF and it does the same thing...thats why I was thinking it might be some kind of add blocking software blocking 2nd party images maybe some preinstalled software from dell. I emailed her and told her about the firewall thats a pretty good idea I was thinking maybe she has somekind of security suit with add blocking features or something.

I have computer associates for firewall antivirus and anti spam and its basically the same thing as zone alarm thats why i think that its the problem.

Contact Dell and start yelling in the phone... "YOU SOLD ME A PIECE OF SHIT!!! IT DOESN'T DISPLAY IMAGES!! I CAN'T LOOK AT PORN!!!! I'M GOING TO SUE YOU!!!"

Ok, maybe not, but it's fun thinking about it. *evil grin*

It came bundled with McAfee security suit I told her to turn it all off and surf and see if it's something in there...the security suit does have a firewall.
