For some reason my motherboard is not detecting my hard drive. I have tried all my sata ports and double checked the power supply which is correct. I can't get into bios setup for some reason so what should i do? ANy suggestions?

hi,
i still can't get into bios. My motherboard is this... http://www.asrock.com/product/ConRoeXFire-eSATA2.htm does this support sata or just sataII? thanks mate |

If you take the hard drive out you should still be able to boot up and access the bios shouldn't you? It's been so long since I have done this that I can barely remember. (Because in some cases the computer freezes when at the point of detecting the hardware before it manages to load the bios, so removing it might help get you into the bios although I can't recall if you can actually boot and get into the bios without a hard drive).
