Hi, my soundcard had worked fine before but then I did a scan on my computer to see if I needed any driver updates...
It said about an update for my soundcard. OK, so I downloaded the Realtek AC97 audio driver package a3.91... Then, NO SOUND I went into device manager, sound, video and game controllers, realtek ac97 audio(where their was an exclamation mark!) and it said 'won't start code 10' Help please before I'll pull my hair out ![]() |

Go to Device manager and use the roll back driver option for the AC97, It might have been the wrong driver or it was a bad download
