Default Hard drive space problem.

I just bought two 320GB Seagate Barracuda hard drives. Currently my OS is installed on my old 120GB WD hard drive. I went into windows xp setup to make the partitions I needed. On the first HD, I put a partition of 20GB for the operating system and i made the remaining space a partition. On the second HD, i just created one full size partition.

Now I know HD's lose some GB than what is advertised. However, in Windows XP, the first HD shows my 20GB partition... but the other partition is only 107GB? For the second HD, it just shows 127GB... no way I could lose 200GB of space on each drive...

Any idea why I'm missing 200GB of space? Thanks!

Sometimes scientists make things alot harder than they need to. All they've gotta do is put a big spring on the ground where they think it's gonna land, or send a mission to the moon to erect a sign that says "Welcome to Earth".

NVM, sorry all, I fixed it. My windows XP CD was one that has a bug with larger drives... limits them to 127GB. I created the partitions via Windows XP and I got the full amount of space. Thanks though.
