Default how much do you think i could get for...

im looking to sell my computer...this is the spec:
256mb nvida geforce 5200 video card.
576mb ram, (should be 1gb but it doesnt want to read that two 512 chips).
soundmax digital audio card build in on mother board.
2.02ghz intel celeron processor
160gb hard drive
and a 17 inch screen, normal, not flat.

how much, roughly, do u think i could sell all this for? in dollars or pounds or euros? and where would be a good, honest place to sell it.
This has no brand as i made it myself the computer a few years back.
thanks
Chooka

$250-300 seems fair to me.

In Canadian dollars, that screen is worth $40 max.

The computer itself is worth about $150.

I can put together a brand new computer for about $300 without the monitor, including a 3 or so GHz Celeron.

Yeah, I'd say around $200 would be about right. Although the motherboard or RAM sounds faulty, and if you were to get that fixed, it might bump up the price a bit...

A good way to check this out would be to have one stick in at a time. Find the one stick that is only reporting the 64MB, then put it in the slot where the full 512MB is reporting. If you still get 512MB, then the stick is fine, and the slot on the motherboard is bad, if you get 64MB, then the stick is bad and the motherboard is more than likely fine.

yeah 200 max i rekon, not much considering you can put together computers cheaper every few months. especially with all the new processors which have come out.
