I'm trying to install Win2000 on a jumpdrive so that i can boot it from different comps, But when i get to the setup and select the drive i get this error "Your computers startup program cannot gain access to the disc containing the partition or free space you chose. Setup cannot install Windows 2000 on this harddisk."
How could i go about fixing/going this? thanks for any help! |

Hm...
It seems that Windows didn't load the driver for your USB disk. Maybe taking a look at this will help.

Here's the link to the software for making the Live CD:
http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/ I think I'm actually going to try this for Vista... This does allow you to install XP to a flash drive; see the FAQ: http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/faq/
