I could go on and on and on and on and on..........but that is just a small percentage of the artists I own albums of.

I recommend you check them all out, genres are debateable and you can get into micro genres, like garage, surf, thrash, intelligent metal, nu metal, grindcore, groove metal, hip hop, DJs, punk, trash punk, pop punk, mall punk, gansta rap, rap, old school hip hop, east coast, west coast, old country, pop, regional pop (like Jpop for japanese pop), electronic, techno, ambient, so on and so forth so I try to not to label things into genres because when an artist is good they establish their own sound and style.

My total collection???

well about 1,000 CDs, over 200+ vinyl records and about 100 gigs of digital music on my computers. I have no idea how many albums or songs that is. I am guess probably around the 20,000+ mark. I got repeats though. The dwarves like to release the same songs on different albums and compilations will have repeats, and so on and so forth. Discographies and collections have repeats too.

you cant go wrong with some alternative rock or punk rock,
green day,
foo fighters,
30 stm,
alice in chains,
snow patrol,
razorlight,
rage against the machine,
ooh i like 3 days grace,
velvet revolver is amazing,
white stripes are good,
modest mouse is new styled but really nice to listen to,
finger 11,
black label society,
ozzy osbourne,
i like coheed and cambria,
fall out boy,
red jumpsuit apparatus,

those are just a few, but yeah alt rock gets me goin for sure
