Default copy protection

I know about copy protected cds, but is there any such technology that will enable you to know whether a cd has been copied/or tried to be copied or not?

thanks

I doubt it. Because in order for you to know if a CD has been copied or not would require some form of data log storage to the CD itself, and all copyrighted CD's are usually always finalised from first burn. Unless you mean on the same computer using a program, then I have no idea. Don't burning applications normally store burn history logs?

Oh if it's not on the same computer I'm almost certain it's impossible. Due to the whole legit cd's being finalised from factory rendering burning to them after impossible.
