Default Simple Help!

ok this is a stupid question but i really cant find the answer... i was wondering if there is such thing as an ethernet cord splitter... just a simple thing that makes one ethernet plug turn into 2 thats it no extra things but i have a direct connection out of the wall for ethernet and i have a modem plugged in but in order to get the TV to work i need another ethernet cable so i was just wondering if that is a real thing or if im screwed

Not that i have seen, but you can just get a regular router for 10$.

yes, you could do that, if the TV is ok with beign wireless, im not sure if it would work like that, try it, i think what motoxrdude was saying is that you can buy say a 4-port router, plug your one cable into and and hey presto, you have 4 ethernet ports out of the router.

And you may be confused modems and routers are not the same thing.

Yeah, the wireless router you have now should work just fine...
