Just bought a pair of earphones to use with skype. Ive basically adjusted my whole communications at home to Skype and I find it to be very convenient. The only problem is that it all depends on the comuter making sounds when receiving an incoming call. Once I connect the earphones the speakers are silent and the only way to hear any sound is from the earphones themselves which doesnt help me if im not sitting by the comuter. I understand that this might come across as one of ther more ignorant questions around here but please, I have no idea what to do. How do I configure the computer, or skype, to be able to have the earphones attached at all times and at the same time be able to hear the ringtone of the incoming calls from skype on the speakers. The speakers are built into the computer and off course this is all windows.
any advise would be greatly appreciated |

In my sound effects options there is a setting to disable speakers when a headset is pluged in, you can just uncheck it
