If it's just an icon you want to delete, you can try using unlocker to unlock it, and hopefully give u access to delete it.

Unlocker

Did you unlock them and was there any processes that showed up when you right click and unlocked them? If you did, go back and try to delete the icon again manually.

The only solution is FDISK! Kidding aside, there was this program that i used to use, i cant remember what its called, but it deleted any selected item, even if the item is read-only, or unaccesable or whatever. If I remember the name ill post it up here

Try using killbox.php. You can download it at

Are you sure its not actually the Recycling Bin thats just had its icon changed by the software???

Right-click the desktop then select Properties, then the Desktop TAB, then the Customise Desktop button.
Under the General TAB, what does the Recycling Bin Icon look like? Try refreshing it by Clicking on the Change Icon button and sellecting the norm icon.

Hmmm. . Scrat may be on to something. Although I'm having a very hard time seeing the picture, I can't see a normal recycle bin anywhere. Before you use Killbox, follow his direction.
