Your post is all semantics. It's effectively the same thing, you can't increase one without the other increasing. Dual channel DDR400 effectively (it's not 100%) gives you DDR800, or if you would prefer 6.4GB/s bandwidth which is....wait...oh right the bandwidth provided by DDR800
