Unhappy 100% CPU usage when uploading

I'm having a pesky problem. My browser uses up 100% CPU usage when uploading! This happens when I upload to file hosting sites like megaupload, yousendit, rapidshare, etc... Firefox is a resource hog in my system so I thought it was Firefox's problem at first, but when I tried using IE and Opera, the same thing happens. (Opera worked fine at first, but also started taking up 100% CPU with the next file I uploaded). The moment I kill off the uploading tab, everything goes back to normal.

I don't have any problems uploading with torrents, though. I'm at a loss. Can anybody please help me?

sounds like you have a virus...have you downloaded anything recently? if so double check these files to make sure they are legit files and not the culprits also you should do a scan disk check

Hey, I'm using radeon omega drivers too! This could be the culprit. I'd like to try switching to the original ati drivers but I don't know which to download from ati's website. (I can't tell which model is my graphics card) How can I tell?

Thanks~!
