cpu speed problem
Hi!
I recently bought Compaq sr1850nx with AMD 64 3700+ processor from Fry's The specifications say the processor speed is supposed to be 2.2 ghz, but whenever I try to play computer games, this window pops up and says that the computer only has 1 ghz and can't support the game. I tried searching in the internet about it, but all I could find were things concerning cpu clock speed, overclocking, and cool'n'quiet technology etc... And I don't a really know what any of these are... Can somebody please tell me why my computer shows it has 1ghz instead of 2.2ghz? And how I could fix it? Thank you soooo much~~ |
