I just read in the local paper that, at 4:15am on wednesday of this week, an ambulance received an emergency call to an old laides house because she was having some serious breathing problems, while the emergency ambulance pulled up, the paramedics jumped out and ran straight into the house, while they were in the house, youths smashed the wind screens of the ambulance and stole the laptop and computer equipment they use to receive emergency calls, find the fastest possible route too and from the hospital and also to record and communicate with the hospital and other emergency services. They put all of the windows through and stole their equipment. Luckily the old ladie didnt require a trip to the hospital, but now that ambulance has been rendered useless and isnt in service.
What is the world, or rather the youths of todays world coming to?

Coventry. Not a bad city either, although every city has it's good areas and it's bad areas, and the emergency call was to a road near a bad area.

Gee. I wonder what these morons would say if THEY needed an ambulance and the dispatcher had to tell them, "Sorry, vandals damaged the ambulance. No service today." Too bad we'll never know.
