when i ordered my ocmputer, i also ordered a new mic with it. i didnt think at the time to check if it was usb or the other thing =\. turns out it was the "other thing" and i can not get it to work. i have tried it on my old computer, and my new one and i can only get sound. no voice form it. i have hooked up everything as it should be (i am 95%) sure i have, and tried it hooked to the front back and almost everycombination of ports. it worked on my laptop but i dotn use that for gaming....can anyone help me try to get this to work?

also i found an old mic of ours ( a few years old) and its "the other thing" also and it wont work on my computer either. is it something with my mobo/onboard sound card that is preventing this type o mic from working?
