I know I selected a SLI compatible power supply and not a mobo that supports it
so that will most likely change. I wanted to ensure compatability and I wanted to hear comments and opinions, I don't want to spend more than 1000.00 including shipping. I am at 700.00 now, I don;t need a graphics card right now and I am taking suggestions on HD's, I also need an OS, so I have about 150.00-200.00 more to work with.

I have one more thing to add, I have limited expierence in software and OS's so I am a little concerned since this will be my first build from scratch, so any tips or suggestions would be very useful and appreciated

Get 2x512mb sticks instead of 1 1 gig unless you plan on getting a 2nd 1gb stick soon. The PSU seems fine,Windows XP Home is pretty cheap now,Pro would be the way to go but that might take a good bit of your funds, and how big a hard drive space do you need?
