Default Wireless internet issues

My wireless internet keeps disconnecting itself.

It always reconnects a few seconds later, but it causes my internet browsing to suffer delays and I keep logging out from IM services such as MSN.

Any1 know how 2 fix this?

Eeeek it just did it again... I think it tends to occur when I am using it, not when it is idle.

When I try to add a post it does it too.

I have the same thing occasionally, and repairing it does nothing. Try switching the router channel, interference often causes that.

Yer, I'll try that but I don't have access to my router. The person who does gets back tomorrow, so I'll try that then.

However, I'm not sure it can be interference (I have another computer on the same wireless network which doesn't suffer that issue.

It may be my wireless card. It has caused me many problems in the past (unexpected re-starts and freezing on boot up). I've managed to get round those without buying a new one, but I'm starting to get frustrated with it. Seeing as I'm going to get a new computer soon anyway, I'll live with it 4 now.

If you are using a USB adapter, try repositioning it. How good is the signal you are recieving?
