Default Ive stared making slideshows that work on dvd , hwoever audio help

I was making slideshows that work in a dvd player by using windows movie maker, however i had to encode my mp3 music files to wma for it tow ork

I knwo have a program called ProShow Producer , which is like a $400 progralm

anways , it allows me to add mp3's without converting them to wma or ac3, and it works in my dvd player , but I KNOW THAT MP3 is not a NORM format when it comes to dvd

so questions are , is the proshow producer program fixing the mp3 to dvd audio

or do I need to make my mp3's into somehting else for it to definatly work ON ALL DVD PLAYERS

actually i've recently started using windows movie maker for movies i make ingame i haven't tried burning one to a dvd yet but my mp3 files work just fine with them if i play the saved movie file....when i save the file to my pc i use the video for local playback (2.1) setting it saves them as AC3 you might could give that a try

ok i just tested this and if you save the file like i said above with the mp3 and then burn that file with nero 7 works like a charm...this is a much easier way if youa sk me but...to answer your question it converts the movie file to a dvd format this includes everything within the movie sounds and video
